C’est enfin et surtout un mois plein de charme qui lance officiellement le compte à rebours avant notre Grand Dîner de Thanksgiving !

AUCP Marseille Students Inspired in Fez, Morocco
AUCP Marseille students have just returned from their week-long study tour in Fez, Morocco. After finding their place within a French host family, Marseille students repeated the experience with a Moroccan family in Fez – getting a real feel for daily life in two worlds so diverse yet so intimately linked.

Ode to France
« No country does life on earth better than the French, » commented an anonymous American known only by his alias on the New York Times’ website, the night of the recent terrorist attacks in Paris. Massively shared on French social media and on all major French media websites, this touching « ode to France » rang true, lifting heavy hearts throughout the country.
The Marseillais Make Montécaos!
What’s a montécao, you ask? Our AUCP Marseille students found out! Monday evening, a group of students went to a local oriental pâtisserie to learn how to make this traditional North African cookie whose recipe dates back over a thousand years!

Imagine Provence. What comes to mind? Endless fields of lavender, olive oil, cheese and more! Last week, AUCP Summer students explored the quintessential farmlands of Provence, and discovered what goes into producing lavender, honey and olive oil … these important emblems of Provence!
Le Festival d’Aix: Aix Outshines Paris
Yesterday, AUCP Summer students saw an opera by Mozart under the stars in one of the most emblematic open-air theaters in Aix-en-Provence. No need to go to Paris, the largest, most renowned Opera Festival in France takes place every summer right here in Aix-en-Provence, and our students are a part of it!

Where do AUCP Students Spend Spring Break?
AUCP Study Abroad students just got back from their Spring break. They had two gloriously sunny weeks to take advantage of Aix and Marseille’s ideal locations to travel throughout France and Europe – before their final exams this week.
Summer Cooking Classes
This summer, in addition to their AUCP university coursework, students will have the opportunity to learn the deliciously fresh and easy culinary traditions of Provence, through hands-on classes with celebrated local Chef, Bruno Ungaro.

Students Discover the Fine Wines of Châteauneuf-du-Pape
Led by Joël Corre, AUCP Culture and Business of French Wines professor and head of the Aix Institut d’Oenologie, AUCP students visited the world-renowned Châteauneuf-du-Pape wine region of Provence.

We said farewell to our bright and intelligent Fall classes of 2014 at the farewell cocktail Friday evening, bringing together professors, staff, host families and students in both Aix and in Marseille.
A Very French Thanksgiving Abroad
Friday evening, 110 guests came together to celebrate Thanksgiving, à la française. Students, their host families, language partners, professors and staff shared in a festive evening filled with good food, good wine and good company.
